Classic Rug Care Celebrate Their Emergency Rug Kits Gaining
Worldwide WoolSafe Approval

Classic Rug Care are pleased to announce that their Emergency Rug Kit & the smaller Spotting Kit, which were launched last year have passed independent testing are now WoolSafe Approved.

“We are thrilled to have created something that’s safe, effective, user friendly, easy to store and is actually being used by our clients.

Getting WoolSafe Accreditation for the care kits was always very important to us, and being the first, is really the icing on the cake”, said Classic Rug Care MD Richard Pruce.

As cleaning and repair specialists, Classic Rug Care know the importance of regular and effective maintenance and care of rugs and investment textiles.

Working closely with rug manufacturers and interior designers for many years, the company has a broader perspective than most, which enables them to appreciate the effort, skill and care involved at every stage of a rugs production, from concept through to installation and life on the floor.

Before designing the kits, Classic Rug Care spent a long time researching and talking to their clients and cleaners about their biggest carpet, rug and textile issues and how they were dealing with them.

“Once we knew what clients actually wanted rather than what we thought they needed or should have, it was then a matter of putting together a comprehensive but not overwhelming collection of the safest spotting and stain removal solutions and tools, that could address most of their concerns about day-to-day spills and spots, while reducing the risks of causing further damage”

We all know that accidents can happen (drink spills and pet accidents being the most common) and panic often ensues, which can, on occasion, be catastrophic, Classic Rug Care believes that the ‘Emergency Rug Kit’ offers their clients the perfect solution to be able to act quickly and safely without having to call in the professionals.

Like a medical first aid kit, it was important to fit everything into a neat (but stylish) and functional ‘Grab Bag’ so that nothing is forgotten and the temptation to use the wrong product or method is removed.

“Initially developed for rug and investment textile owners and housekeeping staff, the kits are now routinely being used by many of our manufacturing, retailing and interior designer clients who use them on site to remove fitting, installation or delivery marks themselves.
